The Italian Press have reported on news that Perugino's Adoration of the Shepherds. This fresco fragment, which was originally situated in the church of San Francesco al Monte di Perugia, is now in the collections of the National Gallery of Umbria. The work was undertaken by Cbc-Conservazione Beni Cultural and is the first campaign of restoration for the picture undertaken in thirty years. Delicate retouching was undertaken in watercolour with hatching to ensure a better legibility of the image.
