This specific 2012 model features a unique mother-of-pearl (nacre) hour circle combined with a central silver guilloché&nbsp;Clous de Paris&nbsp;dial.

Journe</a>'s Chronographe Rattrapante from the <a href="https://www.sothebys.com/en/buy/luxury/watches/watch/f-p-journe/linesport" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">LineSport</a> collection is nothing short of mesmerizing. The split-seconds chronograph entered the LineSport family in 2018 and appeared for the first time in this collection with precious metal-cases. Having listened closely to collector's criticism and preferences, F.P. Journe got rid of the rubber bumpers in between bracelet links like the previous model and increased the case size to 44mm. In the hierarchy of chronographs, the rattrapante (split-seconds) is king. Designed to time events that start but do not end together, the beauty of a rattrapante is having two chronographs in one watch.

F.P. Journe Chronomètre Bleu The F.P. Journe Chronomètre Bleu was the first watch in the F.P. Journe collection to be crafted in a tantalum case. The dial, made by the Journe Cadrans integrated dial manufacture, is lacquered to resemble a striking blue mirror above which the cream Arabic numerals appear to be floating. The watch is encased with a twin barrel movement made from 18ct gold, a unique brand signature of F.P.
