Szépművészeti Múzeum (Museum of Fine Arts) in Budapest have announced their acquisition of Adrian Coorte's Still life of fraises-de-bois in a Wan-Li bowl upon a stone ledge. The rare oil on canvas was purchased by the museum from Sotheby's New York in January 2022 and will join the other painting of Two Walnuts by the same artist.

Another example of Coorte's Wild Strawberries was sold from the Weldon Collection at Sotheby's New York in April 2015. Compared to the newly acquired Budapest picture, this example was painted on paper laid down on panel. A highly unusual technique in the 17th and 18th centuries, this seems to have been a preferred working method by the artist.
