We are pleased to present Important Design: from Noguchi to Lalanne, which showcases a superlative selection of Design from the top international masters of the 20th and 21st centuries. Anchored by a newly discovered Table by Isamu Noguchi, this exceptionally rare piece, executed between 1945-1947, is among only three early examples of the form hand-carved by the artist that are known to exist. An exciting selection of sculptural works by Les Lalanne constitutes another focal point of the sale, led by an important Crocodile Settee and pair of Croco-Consoles from the historical collection of Claude and François-Xavier, and two Moutons de Laine from the Collection of Kay Unger. We invite you to explore the sale’s full range of offerings of American and European Design across the last century.
