model introduced 1928

molded glass

stencil etched R. LALIQUE/FRANCE

9 1/8 in. (23.3 cm.) high

Overall in very good condition. When viewed in person, the surfaces present with great complexity and a variety of hues ranging from indigo (when viewed under indirect light) to royal blue (in direct light). The raised decorative elements of the glass appear undisturbed. The glass presents with faint and extremely fine surface scratches throughout and light calcareous residue to the recessed areas consistent with age. A rare and highly desirable model by Lalique in well-preserved condition.
