Overall in excellent condition. A stunning form beautifully executed in aluminum, the present “Ginkgo” bench presents with highly naturalistic details and an exquisite composition comprising ginkgo leaves and swirling branches. When viewed in person, the aluminum surfaces present with a bright silver color with dynamic variegated presence. The aluminum presents with minor surface and casting irregularities, particulate inclusions and minute pinholes which are inherent to the making and typical for works by Claude Lalanne. The underside of the feet with protective rubber pads. Highly compatible with the preceding lots in aluminum from the same series, this important bench provides an opportunity to acquire a beautiful “Ginkgo” set by Claude Lalanne in remarkable condition and suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
