Overall in very good condition. The vase displays a complex pattern of turquoise and crimson red glass. The glass presents with surface irregularities inherent to the medium and its production and characteristic of the artist’s practice. The lower half of the vase presents with a very small area of scattered minute abrasions to the glass, only visible upon close inspection. The vase presents with very light surface scratches concentrated to the underside of the base as consistent with gentle use. The interior of the neck and body present with light dust and surface residue. A rare and fine example of murrine glass work by Venini.
