32 1/4 in. (81.9 cm) diameter
Overall in very good condition. When viewed in person, this large-scale Dandelion presents with spectacular scale and presence. The central globe presents with very small areas of scattered discolorations to the gilding as well as minute oxidation marks which are consistent with age and not visually distracting. The bristles present with some very minor bending, which is common for such works and consistent with age and gentle handling. The central stem presents with areas of very small losses to the gilding which are not visually distracting. The central stem rests within a granite base which presents with a few very minor isolated areas of light wear and some very light abrasions to the edges and corner, not visually distracting. An exceptional and one-of-a-kind example of the form from the Neiman Marcus Collection.
