We are proud to announce the publication of a brochure dedicated to pictures from the Grasset Collection. The Pursuit of Refinement: The Grasset Collection will be available during the travelling exhibitions scheduled at Sotheby's headquarters in Brussels (3 - 5 October), Cologne (7 - 11 October), Amsterdam (22 - 27 October), New York (4 - 15 November) and finally to Hong Kong at the end of November. Alongside full catalogue notes for paintings by Giovanni Antonio Canal, called Canaletto, Jan Davidsz. de Heem, Jan Brueghel the Elder, Osias Beert the Elder, Juan van der Hamen y León and Jan van Kessel, the brochure also contains forewords by Co-Chairman Alex Bell and the scholar Dr Fred G. Meijer.
The collection will be offered in the upcoming Old Master Paintings Evening Sale on 7th December 2022.
