Sotheby's upcoming sale, Château d’Aunoy : du XVIIIe siècle au Design Online, which opens 28 June, features a fusion of traditional collections with contemporary design, art and sculptures. 18th century furniture sits alongside Jacques Duval-Brasseur’s elegant bronzes; a metallic chair by Philippe Hiquily adorns the grand salon set against a Régence-style bookcase, while Jean-Claude Farhi’s resin columns complement Louis XV salon furniture by 18th century Parisian carpenter, Louis Magdaleine Pluvinet.
