Sotheby’s is pleased to present a bevy of exciting and innovative sales in the coming months designed especially for art lovers who are staying safe at home during these unprecedented times.

Collectors will want to mark their calendars for EYE/EAST, an extraordinary sale with distinguished works across diverse categories from collections worldwide. Also in May will be the unveiling of a completely new auction initiative, so please check the Hong Kong Spring Auctions page for further updates.

Sotheby’s will continue editions of its newly-introduced Contemporary Showcase, a very well-received series of boutique auctions that adopt a “pop-up shop” concept, a fast-paced format with exciting thematic presentations. The selling exhibition Manga brings together unique drawings and original Animation Celluloid Pictures of the most beloved characters in animation.

Watches Weekly, unveiling a new selection every seven days, offers a dynamic format for collectors to sell and buy watches. Fine & Antique Jewelry in May showcases an array of signed pieces from famed houses and a selection of diamond designs to suit all occasions. Wine and Spirits online auctions have expanded, with the largest online sale of spirits by Sotheby’s Hong Kong to date, including some legendary and most sought-after bottles, plus The Wonderful Cellar presents the first ever online wine auction by Sotheby’s Hong Kong from the cellar of an important Asian collector.

These events will surely whet the appetite of collectors for Hong Kong’s spring auction series beginning the week of 5 July in Hong Kong. Details of the auction schedule are listed below. Sotheby’s continues to offer a range of sale opportunities and formats, including private sale and online auctions, to maximize flexibility in meeting our clients’ needs during this period. With the requirements of our consignors and our responsibility to the international art market in mind, we plan to review final decisions about each event approximately 30 days before to the existing sale date and will alert all relevant parties in the event of further changes.
