Sotheby’s is pleased to present our Spring 2018 New York Jewelry auctions: Magnificent Jewels and Fine Jewels. These auctions, held on 18 and 19 April, feature a classic mix of signed jewels, large colored stones and important diamonds from private collections around the United States.
In addition to the Magnificent Jewels and Fine Jewels auctions, we are honored to sell jewelry, furniture and decorative arts from the estate of renowned jeweller Fred Leighton in The Jewelers’s Eye: The Personal Collection of Fred Leighton. Held on 18 April, this auction will showcase a lifetime’s worth of global treasure-hunting. Red carpet-worthy jewels from his private collection will be sold beside furniture and art inspired by Mr. Leighton’s love of Asian and Indian design.
