On 16 July, Sotheby’s and Sentient Jet hosted an elegant Sunday brunch in the Hamptons along with lively conversation about Long Island’s storied artistic history. After enjoying cocktails at the stunning modernist Sotheby’s International Realty home in Sagaponack, guests were all ears for a discussion moderated by Andrea Grover, Executive Director of Guild Hall. East End artists were the afternoon’s focus and colourful anecdotes about Jackson Pollock and Elaine and Willem de Kooning were shared by Sotheby’s David Schrader and Nick Cinque, Christina Mossaides Strassfield, Director and Chief Curator of Guild Hall, and artist Audrey Flack. The conversation continued well into the day as guests soaked in the sun and the views overlooking the bay. Click ahead for highlights from the idyllic Hamptons Sunday.
