Biography
Ron Elimelekh co-heads Sotheby’s Financial Services, a business dedicated to enabling clients to unlock liquidity from their fine art and collectible assets through lending technology and innovation.
Ron is a financial-technology industry veteran, previously a member of the senior management team for OnDeck Capital, a leading fintech empowering the growth of small businesses, as well as OakNorth’s US lending business focused on middle market lending. In previous roles, Ron was primarily responsible for the design and implementation of financing and capital markets strategy, resulting in the arrangement of billions in funding capacity. Ron’s prior experience includes navigating businesses through growth stage, an initial public offering, international expansion, and other important company milestones. Ron also focuses on organizational vision & strategy, and development of operational & technology infrastructure.
Ron received a JD from New York University School of Law in 2004 and a BS in Accounting from Binghamton University in 2001.
