John Constable - The Way I See The World

Watch as Downton Abbey's Jim Carter narrates extracts from the letters of John Constable. The artist explains the inspirations for his works including 'The Lock', one of the small group of monumental landscapes known as his 'Six Footers' which for many define the apogee of the artist's career. This work will be included in our Old Master & British Paintings Evening Sale on 9 December 2015.
