RESULTS
The sixth part of the R. and B. L. library, devoted to the Romantic period, with illustrated books, posters, first editions, autographs and drawings of exceptional quality, ended on a resounding high note. This unique collection, sold in association with Binoche & Giquello, achieved a total of €2,215,938. The second session saw the extraordinary unpublished relic of Victor Hugo's love life addressed to Juliette Drouet, his true love, fire the bidding all the way up to €217,500.

This sixth part of the prestigious R. & B.L. collection, sold in association with Binoche and Giquello, is devoted to Romantic literary works. It comprises exceptional Illustrated books by Daumier, Grandville and others, in pristine original condition; Romantic first editions by Balzac, Mérimée, Musset, Sand, Stendhal and Vigny in contemporary signed bindings; and rare Hugo drawings, inscribed copies and autographs.
