Ugo Nespolo Biography
Nespolo attended the Fine arts Accademia Albertina in Turin. A polyhedric artist, as well as a painter he is also a sculptor, film-maker and journalist.
In the early 1960s, his work was influenced by American pop art and, in the following years, he also approached Arte Povera and the Fluxus movements, while keeping his precious creative autonomy.
In addition to his national strong notoriety, the artist, having signed the pptArt Manifesto - which is an international art movement dedicated to promote many notable initiatives like the Corporate Art Awards -, has also acquired a strong international artistic reputation.
