Curated by Sheikha Hoor Al Qasimi, Director of the Sharjah Art Foundation, LB02 explores dissonance between humans, and our increasingly strained relationship with the environment. With a focus on the Global South, it will bring together over 80 artists from across the world to address polarizing issues of identity and difference. It does so by recuperating histories of coexistence, interaction, and solidarity within and beyond Asia, using sites throughout the city of Lahore. It promises to address some vital issues of the day, and who would not want to discover the rich heritage of the city and its environs?

For those who are first-time travellers to Lahore, itinerary and hotel booking forms can be referred to Saniya’s Cultural travel program. Events kick off on Saturday 25 January, with several collateral events opening that day.
