Highlights
In the 1960s and 70s, artists from across the Americas flocked to the newly-appointed artistic mecca of New York. In dialogue with their United States contemporaries, artists like Agustín Fernández, Marcelo Bonevardi, and Enrique Echeverría absorbed, engaged with, and pulled threads from the dominant and emerging movements of the moment, ranging from Fluxus to Abstract Expressionism, weaving those influences with their own plastic philosophies.
