Overall in very good condition. The straw marquetry is in age-appropriate condition and presents with scratches, abrasions, some minor losses and instances of faint discoloration throughout consistent with age and gentle use. The straw with some occasional very minor separations, with some lifting and rippling consistent with age and the natural evolution of the medium. The metal hinges with gentle age-appropriate oxidation and tarnish consistent with age.
