Overall size 12.5 x 8.5 x 6.0 cm. A rare example of this opaline silica, sometimes referred to as geyserite, formed in the hot springs of Yellowstone. Sliced and polished to reveal two opal nodules, the larger of which displays bright play-of-color with orange, blue, green and yellow hues. With custom lucite base.
