Wim Delvoye

Deloye is a Belgian neo-conceptual artist known for his inventive and eclectic oeuvre, often scandalous and shocking.

His researches spreads in a range of themes, from bodily function, as the famous series of installations called Cloaca, to the function of art in the current market economy.

Famous works are the Art Farm work, where the artist, began to tattoo live pigs in 1997, and the bold Gothic works, where he used the X-ray scans of sexual acts to fill gothic window.

His works, as complex mechanisms result of ears of consultation with experts in fields, can aseptically but aesthetically describe a new way of making art, which completely modify our understanding of beauty.
