Thyra Herzogin zu Mecklenburg-Solodkoff

Thyra Mecklenburg serves as Deputy Director and Representative for Berlin, with focus in Modern, Post-War and Contemporary Art. Since joining the company in 2021 as a Client Liaison based in Cologne, she has played a pivotal role in cultivating relationships with key clients in Berlin and contributing to major consignments across multiple departments.

Before joining Sotheby’s, Thyra held the position of Project Manager at a key gallery in Frankfurt am Main, where she managed the gallery’s international presence at leading art fairs including BRAFA, Art Paris, and Masterpiece London.

Thyra Mecklenburg holds a Master’s degree from Ruprecht Karl University of Heidelberg and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Vienna, with a focus on European art history.
