F ollowing the successful sale of the first part of the Dorothée Lalanne collection, which fetched over €80.9 million making it the highest amount for a French auction in 2021, Sotheby's was proud to propose the second chapter of this magnificent ensemble.

After a marathon that lasted more than five hours, where each work was fiercely disputed by several bidders, the sale totaled to €48 million. The impressive results of this sale doubled its high estimate, and 100% of the lots were sold. In total, the Dorothée Lalanne Collection has raised more than €129 million, making it the highest amount for a collection sold in France in more than a decade.
