Emile Gallé was a master craftsman who skilfully interpreted the natural world using different shapes and shades of glass and crystal. His pioneering techniques are said to have ‘inscribed in matter the emotion of life’. Watch highlights of a rare collection of his unique works ahead of Sotheby’s sale in Paris on 22 November.
