This F.P. Journe Tourbillon Souverain sold for 31.4M HKD in September 2026. Made circa 2005 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Sincere Fine Watches, the pink gold watch was produced in an edition of just five pieces and features a black mother-of-pearl dial. Its 40mm case houses the manually wound calibre 1403, combining a tourbillon with a constant-force remontoire, dead beat seconds and power-reserve indication.
The watch belongs to the second generation of the Tourbillon Souverain, which added dead beat seconds to the constant-force mechanism used in Journe’s earlier tourbillons. The remontoire delivers a more consistent supply of energy to the escapement, while the seconds hand advances in precise one-second increments.
