Auction Highlights
Lee Miller: Sold to Benefit The Fitzrovia Chapel
Lee Miller’s Surgical Gloves Are Sterilised and Dried on Stands, Churchill Hospital, Oxford (Lot 29) is being sold with a portion of the sale proceeds to benefit the Fitzrovia Chapel in London, where the exhibition Lee Miller: Nurses is on view until 5 June, 2022. To commemorate the exhibition, this image has been newly released as a limited-edition platinum-palladium print. The print on offer is number one from the edition of 10 and is sold with half of the platinum internegative. This is a rare opportunity to own a piece of negative, and we hope it encourages conversations about this very special exhibition and photographic process.
Playful, mysterious, or sensual, these photographs capture the essence of their subjects without revealing their faces.
