This winter Sotheby's is thrilled to present an exciting series of live and online auctions in New York that cover every area of Design. Our live auction series on December 12-13 celebrates exceptional works of Design and an unprecedented array of masterworks by Louis Comfort Tiffany and Tiffany Studios. This follows Sotheby's record-breaking auction of the Tiffany Danner Memorial Window on November 18.

Over four live auctions feature a curated selection of some of the most covetable and rare pieces on the market, commencing with our bi-annual Important Design auction on December 12. On the following day, December 13, we are thrilled to present an exciting three-auction event celebrating the remarkable artistry of Louis Comfort Tiffany and Tiffany Studios: Tiffany Studios - Artistry in Glass: The Seymour and Evelyn Holtzman Collection , Dreaming in Glass: Masterworks by Tiffany Studios, Featuring Property From The Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Doros Collection: The Art Glass of Louis Comfort Tiffany Volume IV: Tiffany's Travel and Exploration .

Our sale series continues with two very special online auctions from the visionary Sydell Miller Collection: A Legacy of Beauty: Lalique to Zadora: Objets d'Art from The Collection of Sydell Miller Online Auction , an auction celebrating the collection’s expansive range of ‘objets d’art’, and A Legacy of Beauty: The Collection of Sydell Miller Online Auction featuring exquisite furniture, decorative art, and silver.

All lots will be on view for live auctions. Select highlights will be on view for the Sydell Miller Online auctions. For items not on exhibition at our York Avenue location, please contact the 20th Century Design team to schedule a viewing at our Gantry Point facility.
