2 volumes, 4to (316 x 240 mm). Printed on Van Gelder Holland, illustrated with 79 and 74 photogravures; both volumes with the usual faint tissue offsetting showing on image margins. Each in publisher’s half morocco bindings, minor rubbing, corners of volume IV a little worn.
Text volumes only from number 198 of the original proposed edition of 500.
