A fine copy, inscribed "to Irene from Vita, Christmas 1921". Irene Hogarth (later Pirie), was a friend of the author from teenage years to late in life. Laid-in is a letter from the author presenting the book to Irene: "I have had this little book specially bound for you & herewith send it". The poems on pp.29 and 30 refer to WW1.
