Part of Hebrews 8-11 on a leaf from the Chudleigh Bible


illuminated manuscript in Latin on vellum. [France (probably northeastern, perhaps Arras), 13th century (2nd quarter)]


One leaf, c.285×190mm, written in gothic script in two columns of 54 lines (c.185×120mm), the text comprising Hebrews 8:5–11:32, numerous marginal corrections enframed in red in the margins, and variant chapter divisions.
