Benjamin Rickert

Ben is an Associate Account Manager in Sotheby’s Valuations department, where he works primarily with Sotheby’s Financial Services to manage complex valuations for collateral loan purposes. He also collaborates directly with collectors and fiduciaries on valuations for sale, estate planning, charitable contribution, collection management, and insurance. Ben joined Sotheby’s in 2022, previously serving as Senior Administrator and later as Coordinator within the Valuations department.

Ben holds a Master’s degree in Art Business from Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Syracuse University. He has successfully completed the coursework and examination requirements of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).
