An extensive collection of various collated travel testimonies, describing a variety of journeys throughout the globe, comprising journals and official accounts of travels and voyages, profiles of territories, histories, religious investigations, scientific and architectural treatises, including a number of plates, depicting illustrations, maps and graphs. The compilation includes accounts by Sir Thomas Rose, Johan Nieuhoff, Captain John Smith and Ferdinand Columbus, the son of Christopher Columbus.
