On 18 April Sotheby’s and Sotheby’s International Realty welcomed guests to cocktails and a private viewing at the San Francisco Art Institute’s Walter and McBean Galleries. Along with Sotheby's Thomas Bompard, Jennifer Biederbeck and Courtney Kremers, Jeffrey Gibson, Senior Vice President of SIR, hosted the reception, which featured works by Picasso, Twombly, Kusama and more. Other auction highlights included lots from Blema and H. Arnold Steinberg, the most important collection of color field paintings to ever appear at auction.
