About the Museum

The first major archeological discovery in China at the beginning of the 21st century, the Jinsha site is considered one of the most significant discoveries on the ancient Shu civilisation of the Shu Kingdom. Jinsha site have uncovered a large amount of artefacts, including gold, jade and ivory. To date, the Sun and Immortal Bird Gold Ornament is the most important artefact unearthed at the site, and its pattern was selected both as the emblem for Chinese Cultural Heritage and the Chengdu city logo.
