This summer, the Grimaldi Forum presents a landmark exhibition that examines the relationship between the Grimaldi dynasty and the Napoleonic Empires. Nearly 200 rare artworks, documents and artifacts — many never before displayed — are brought together from the Prince’s Palace of Monaco archives, French and Monegasque museums and the extraordinary private collection of David and Mikhail Iakobachvili. Extensive research by the team of curators helps unveil Monaco’s political and cultural legacy through encounters with Napoleon I, Napoleon III and Empresses Joséphine and Eugénie.
