Final, full colour pull of the dust-jacket art, SIGNED by the illustrator, (45 x 19.5 unframed, 59.5 x 36 framed)

This exceptional artist's sample of one of Chopping's most recognisable dust-jacket illustrations has the text in proof-state set lower, a single-line gap between the first section of blurb and the blurb in italics, with no printed price. It is uncut, unlike the published version which had clipped corners and was entirely reset. The rear panel is blank.

From Russia, With Love, 1957, was the first Ian Fleming novel to use Richard Chopping's trompe l'oeil jacket design, signalling the start of a long association for Chopping with the iconic James Bond cover art.
