Browne ("Phiz") including frontispiece and vignette title page (earlier state with date); without publisher's advertisements at end; some foxing and browning primarily to plates, as usual. Original olive green fine-diaper cloth, covers elaborately bordered in blind (not noted in Smith), spine gilt-lettered, yellow coated endpapers; spine sunned, some slight rubbing to extremities with minimal fraying. Housed in custom green morocco and blue cloth-covered board slipcase. 

First edition in book form, variant binding.
