Presentation copy from King Edward VII, as Prince of Wales, to the Revd. Canon Robinson Duckworth. Duckworth served as Edward's Honorary Chaplain from 1875 to 1901, and accompanied him on his 1875-6 tour of India. Queen Victoria was proclaimed Empress of India on 1 January 1877.
