A rosewood library timepiece, Parkinson & Frodsham, London, circa 1840


3-inch restored enamel dial signed Parkinson & Frodsham, Change Alley, London, foliate engraved gilt mask, the fusee movement with anchor escapement, signed on the plain backplate as the dial, the case with shallow pyramid top, moulded base and inlaid with brass stringing, on brass bun feet; on an associated bracket,

timepiece 8¾in; 22.5cm high; bracket 5in; 13cm high
