Léonard Boudin, cabinet maker, received master in 1761.
Léonard Boudin set up his workshop in the Impasse de la Boule-Blanche, in the Faubourg Saint-Antoine, a neighbourhood favoured by chair and furniture-makers and worked there for nearly forty years. He notably worked for the marchand-ébéniste Migeon, producing furniture with floral marquetry that could have resembled the present desk.
