the inverted bell-shaped bowl lined with pink silk; previously with an additional central vase element; chains slightly reduced in height

height 39 in.; width 36 in.

99 cm; 91.5 cm

Good condition overall, with some surface dust to bronze and typical scattered rubbing, oxidation and green discoloration to gilding; this could be lightly cleaned according to taste. Pierced and wired for electricity. Pink silk with a few marks and one panel with a few small tears, but nothing visually significant. Breaks to two palmettes along corona rim and slight warping to leaves of pendant finial below, not really visible except on close inspection. As mentioned, previously with a central vase element visible in old photographs, and the finial section below likely re-attached at the time of vase's removal.
