T hirty art dealers between 20 and 40 years of age will present their collections, each in their respective fields, ranging from antiques to contemporary art, decorative arts, ceramics, glass-making, enamel, fine metalwork and Asian primitive art.
Encompassing a unique bias, four graduate decorators from EnsAD (École nationale supérieure des Arts Decoratifs), the Ivy League university dedicated to design and craftsmanship in France, will curate the objects and furniture pieces, mixing styles and time periods with a clearly stated ambition: showing that it is easy to live with art and to attract new generations of collectors.
With a desire to showcase the newest frontier of what’s trending in design, the event organisers envision a bridge between the new generations of art commerce and craftsmanship. Ateliers d’Art de France is exhibiting the pieces of its four winners of the Prix de la Jeune Création Métiers d’Art 2018, the French competition of young talent in craftsmanship initiated by the organisation.
