I n French, there are words that slip between meanings as light through a prism. “Chœur”—a chorus, a gathering of voices; “cœur”—the heart, the seat of feeling. They are indistinguishable to the ear and Cartier’s new High Jewelry collection, Le Chœur des Pierres, is built on this ambiguity—a chorus of stones but also the heart of each gem, beating quietly beneath the surface.

The 179-year-old Maison’s High Jewelry collections are fixtures in the calendar of collectors and connoisseurs. Since the early 20th century, each unveiling has marked a moment of creative renewal—a new milestone in Cartier’s ongoing conversation with beauty and rarity. Prized for their singularity and artistry, these pieces are sought after not only for their materials but for the stories they tell: stories of provenance, of design and of the hands that shaped them.

Cartier’s devotion is not merely to the finished jewel but to the entire process—the selection, the dialogue between designer and artisan, the orchestration of expertise. Stone experts, jewelers, lapidaries, gem-setters and polishers work in concert, each contributing to the harmony of the whole.

These collections are awaited with genuine anticipation, marking occasions when Cartier’s artisans and designers push the boundaries of their craft, harmonizing technical excellence and aesthetic boldness. In the hands of Cartier, stones become voices and together they form a chorus that is both timeless and utterly contemporary.

Tillan Necklace and Earrings

The Tillan set draws on Cartier’s storied Art Deco lineage, reimagining its geometry for a contemporary eye. Pear-shaped rubies, vivid and luminous, are framed by angular links that evoke the feathered motifs of the era, each accented with emeralds for a subtle counterpoint of green. There’s a sense of rhythm and movement to the necklace and its matching earrings—individual pieces, yet unmistakably in conversation. The interplay of color and structure feels almost musical, a testament to Cartier’s enduring ability to reinvent its codes while allowing each stone to express its own melody within the ensemble.

Tigre Bangla Brooch

The tiger, long a shadow to Cartier’s celebrated panther, steps into the light in the Tigre Bangla set. Here, the motif is rendered with a sense of movement and vitality—a sculpted feline poised mid-stride, its body articulated in gold and diamonds, stripes picked out in onyx. Tiger’s eye stones anchor the composition, their rich, chatoyant warmth echoing the animal’s natural palette. The piece balances whimsy and dignity, an elegant addition to an evolving menagerie.

Panthère Kentia Necklace, Bracelet, Ring and Earrings

The Panthère Kentia set is a masterclass in sculptural jewelry. At its heart is a 50-carat cabochon-cut Ceylon sapphire, surrounded by stylized three-dimensional motifs with botanical accents. The necklace plays on the contrast between organic cabochons and geometric lines, creating a wave of motifs that extend outward, ending with small sapphire cabochons. The panther herself is rendered as a three-dimensional sculpture with piercing emerald eyes and custom-cut onyx markings. The fully articulated construction ensures comfort. The earrings, bracelet and ring are distinct creations, each sculpted with its own character yet sharing a common design language.

Solenara Necklace and Ring

Solenara is a meditation on restraint. Two emeralds, remarkable for their size and organic roundness, are suspended at one end of a precious line of gemstones. The composition is asymmetrical, providing visual harmony and dynamism. Diamonds add geometric clarity while the overall effect is reminiscent of a subtle legato—a seamless flowing melody. The ring mirrors this ethos, its design celebrating simplicity and the Maison’s taste for restraint, allowing the emeralds to resonate with their own intensity.

Nuru Necklace, Bracelet, Ring and Earrings

The Nuru set is a study in geometry and radiance, each piece built around a lattice of diamonds and rubies that feels both architectural and alive. The necklace’s angular lines and stepped silhouette evoke a sense of movement, as if the design is unfolding in real time. The bracelet, ring and earrings mirror this motif, their forms distinct yet unmistakably related—variations on a theme, each with its own cadence. There’s a clarity and vitality to the set, a sense that the stones are not merely set but orchestrated, their interplay of red and white a nod to Cartier’s enduring fascination with rhythm and structure.

Nitelia Necklace

The Nitelia necklace is a study in light and architecture, its cascade of diamonds arranged in a composition that feels both spontaneous and meticulously composed. Angular and geometric, the design tapers to a bold emerald-cut stone at its center, drawing the eye and anchoring the piece. Purity and movement characterize the necklace, as if it captures a fleeting brilliance and holds it in suspension. The juxtaposition of shapes and reflections offers a modern expression of Cartier’s architectural elegance.
