4to (210 x 152mm.), woodcut printer's device on title-page, woodcut initials, some annotations, contemporary blind-tooled morocco over wooden boards, two clasps, some offsetting from manuscript pastedowns (no longer present), binding slightly rubbed, spine creased and chipped at foot, joints weak, lacking both straps and catchplates


The text of Aquinas's work on the truth of the Catholic faith was prepared by the Dominican Angelo Rizzardi di Savigliano, who later became an inquisitor.
