Super-Chancery folio (297 x 199mm.), 280 leaves, *10 aα–zψ8 &ω4 AΑ–DΔ8 EΕ6 FΖ GΗ8 HΘ6 IΙ8 KΚ6 LΛ8, 30 lines, Greek text, modern half pigskin over wooden boards, first and last two quires washed and slightly browned, small repair to foot of first leaf, upper joint cracking


An early production from the Aldine Press, one of several Greek grammars printed at this time in accordance with Aldus's programme of Greek printing. Aldus's preface to this works gives us information about how long he has been involved with printing and his plans for future publications, including his monumental works of Aristotle.
