A FINE COPY of one of the most beautiful German florilegia, illustrating numerous exotic and unusual plants. The first edition appeared between 1612 and 1614 with 87 plates, and was greatly expanded in later editions due to the popularity of the book. This edition has 115 plates, portraying the most beautiful plants of the Florilegium Renovatum et Auctum, published in 1641[-47].
