6 leaves, 111, 116-117, [1] pages, 8vo (16.6 x 10.6cm), two engraved tables, one engraved illustration of a viol, one engraved illustration of a treble violin, type-set music, some woodcut diagrams, Dolmetsch Library stamp and pencil shelfmark ("II B 39a"), later patterned papered boards, lacking A and A2 (supplied in photocopy), E8, and also the whole of the third part (Campion's "Art of Descant"), small tears with paper loss to outer margin of B8, some edges repaired, some browning and spotting
