A fashionable crowd descended on Sotheby’s New Bond Street on Tuesday evening to view a stunning collection of photographs that are currently on view in the galleries. As well as highlights from the upcoming Photographs sale there was an opportunity to see The Discerning Eye: Property from the Collection of Erick Franck. Guests, who included David Furnish, Karen Elson, Mary Katrantzou and Roksanda Ilincic, were also treated to works from the Old Future selling exhibition by Erik Madigan Heck, the photographer who recently shot the debut campaign for Sotheby’s Diamonds, and the evening was rounded off with a VIP dinner, co-hosted by Harper’s Bazaar Editor-in-Chief Justine Picardie and Brandei Estes, Head of Photographs at Sotheby’s. Lady Burlington attended the event for a signing of her new book House Style: Five Centuries of Fashion at Chatsworth. Click ahead to see highlights from the event.
