Sotheby's New York headquarters has been taken over by a multitude of fascinating objects soon to come to auction in Americana Week. Exhibitions are now on view for all six auctions which include the remarkable single owner collections of Joan Oestreich Kend, Ralph and Susanne Katz Collection, E. Newbold and Margaret du Pont Smith and George S. Parker II, as well as an Important Family Archive of letters and manuscripts that belonged to Alexander Hamilton. The property is as rare as it is inspiring.
